Tsingtao Beer
Being a lady, I am ashamed to say I am a big beer drinker. Tsingtao beer has to be my favourite. It actually originates from China, but was founded by German settlers in 1903, so I don’t know what you would call it. Is Tsingtao beer German or Chinese?
Research indicates that the beer should be the ethnicity of where it was produced, just like in human terms. So Tsingtao beer is indeed Chinese beer.
I enjoy a nice frosty pint, but Tsingtao beer is hard to come by on draft, much like corona, it is widely available in bottles. I first became hooked on Tsingtao beer during my semester in America, and while I was there, bottles seemed to be the safer option to drink from anyway, as drink drugging on a night out was a hot topic back then, and you could never be too safe!
Tsingtao beer is the largest selling Chinese brand of beer in America. I began drinking it there and now I can’t stop!
Not that it’s a bad thing. Tsingtao beer is actually a very refreshing drink; it’s also the 11th largest beer brand in the world! At only 157 calories, you really can’t go wrong.
Tsingtao beer has a nice crispy, nutty but slightly malty flavour. When me and my friends go to the pub in the evenings, they order whatever is cheapest, I however will always op for Tsingtao beer if it available!
With a population of around 1.26 billion, quite a large figure and the most popular beer is Tsingtao, imagine how many actually drink it. Quite amazing when you think about it, so many people loving the great taste of Tsingtao.
mountains and desert land are vast in China, making up two thirds of the country, this indicates that people must get very thirsty in there! Tsingtao beer is very refreshing, and obviously the chosen thirst quencher! China may be nice place to live, its warm, and my favoroute Tsingtao beer would be cheaper and much more readily available, but i think Vhina is too busy for little old me to survive in/
I think I may just stick to sampling the Chinese culture through their fabulous Tsingtao beer here in England.

You need wine grapes for wine
Wine making grapes are not just what you see in your local Walmart coming in only several varieties. Those being red, green, and then with our without seeds. There are in fact thousand’s of types of grapes as well as many hybrids of those as well. It is the responsibility of the wine maker to choose the proper wine making grapes which will allow him to make that ever delightful bottle of wine. Most people would think that a grape is simply that, a grape.
Any wine making professional will tell you that grapes are hands down, the most important part of creating the best wine possible. The different varieties allow for different sweetness, taste, and aroma, among many other things. Contained in the rest of this article are some descriptions of various types of grapes and their resulting wine.
Malbec, or also known as Auxerrois, creates a very neutral wine. Some people often refer to it as a fruity or “softer” tasting wine, the grape itself is typically grown in Luxembourg and Canada. Cabernet Sauvignon is the name of the grape, as well as it’s resulting wine. On the vine, this grape is small, very hard, and bright red in color. Usually grown in California or Australia, this grape makes for some of the best red wine available and usually tastes like blackberries.
The third and final group are called European Wine Grapes, which are also referred to as Vitis Vinifera. Grapes contained in this category are ones such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Chardonnay, just to name a few. In this classification also contains the majority of the most popular hybrid grapes such as Reliance, Foch, Chambourcin and Vignoles. Compared to the other two grape groups, this is considered to be the sweetest group of all having a much higher concentration of sugar.
Typically, the Merlot grape is grown in France, Italy, and Australia. However more recently, vineyards have begun to grow this grape in California and Washington states. Last and certainly not least on this list of wine making grapes is Zinfandel. Most of this type of grape are grown in California. Depending on grow time and fermentation cycle, this wine may have either a fruity or spicy taste in either the red wine or white wine categories. Wine making and grapes go hand in hand and without grapes, wine is literally impossible.

Belgian Beer - History & Background
There are 125 breweries in Belgium where 500 different types of Belgian Beer are brewed each year. The art of brewing beer has been carried out in this European country since the Middle Ages and initially it was only carried out by monks in monasteries. Now Belgium is a country where the most varied number of beers are brewed each year.
The alcohol content of these beers is much higher than many other varieties from around Europe and some have a content as high as between 6 and 8 per cent. The reason for this being that a law was brought into force which prohibited the sales of spirits in public houses. At the time beer was classified as being a spirit and to get round this law breweries increased the alcohol content in them. However, this law was then lifted in 1983.
As mentioned there are around 500 different types of Belgian beer one can drink today and they fall into a number of different categories, below we take a look at what these are.
Trappist Beer ? This is a beer which is brewed in one of 6 monasteries in Belgium and in order to qualify as being such a beer the complete brewing process is either carried out or overseen by Trappist monks at their monastery. On each bottle of beer appears the authentic Trappist Product Logo and this clearly indicates to the drinker that the monastery producing the beer has complied with various rules that have been laid down by the International Trappist Association.
Lambic Beer - This beer is unique to Belgium and produced through the spontaneous fermentation of wild yeasts and which grows in abundance near the country?s capital Brussels. The actual fermentation process of this particular form of Belgian beer can take a considerable period of time. Some beers their fermentation period is 3 to 6 months, and for others the period is between 2 and 3 years.
It is this fermentation process which provides this particular variety of beer with its very distinctive flavor, which some people may dislike. It is very dry, vinous and cidery which results in it having a somewhat sour aftertaste.
Fruit Beers - These are made using Lambic beer and will contain either a fruit concentrate or fresh fruit in them. The most commonly produced and drunk of the fruit beers is Kriek which contains cherries, but there are many other varieties including those made using blackcurrants, raspberries and peaches. Once the fruit has been added to the Lambic beer a second fermentation process takes place.
White Beers - These Belgian beers are very popular in Belgium and the main ingredients used in them are wheat hops and spices along with orange peel and coriander. But there are many different varieties of this beer, each with their own distinctive flavor which comes from the various different brewing methods and ingredients used by the breweries in its manufacture.
