Great Christmas Gift Ideas - The Green Book
The Green Book, by Elizabeth Rogers and Thomas M. Kostigen, give the issues of our environment top drawer treatment. Looking at the way Americans use water and energy, and what we do with our waste, they offer useful and practical tips.
Star contributors, such as Robert Redford, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Aniston, Faith Hill and Dale Earnhardt Jr. share their helpful hints for being a good partner to our world. The authors discuss 12 areas, including our home, work, and school, and show ways to make better decisions in keeping them green. The book keys on how little changes can add up to huge savings on our environment by using descriptions versus analytical numbers.
The Green Book offers hope and practical suggestions, such as:
* Say No to ATM paper receipts. If we all in the U.S.A. wrote the amount in our checkbook instead of requesting a receipt, the paper saved would be more than 2 billion ft. long.
* Get a voice-mail service for your home phone. If all answering machines in U.S. homes were replaced by voice-mail services, the annual energy savings would total nearly two billion kilowatt hours.
This 4-star rated book earned this ranking due to the small, simple to use ideas. The one area of concern was that some of the numbers when used did not seem to be accurate. However, a simple check before quoting showed the descriptions were right on.
With wit and authority, the authors provide hundreds of solutions for all areas of your life, pinpointing the smallest changes that have the biggest impact on the health of our precious planet.
A hot Christmas gift idea, The Green Book is right in line with the way we as a world are going - a healthy planet!

So You Want to Write a Book?
There are a chosen few of us out there who were chosen to write. Not only do we love writing, we are actually good at it. However, this does not always mean that we are recognized for our skills; in fact it seems that the more talented we are the less likely it is that we are going to get any help with the completion of our books. So we plug away at our day jobs and wait for our big break.
Of course, just finishing the book is not enough. Now you have to proofread it a hundred times to make sure there are no errors or spelling mistakes. Each time you find an error you need to rewrite the page and reprint it, and then proofread it again. This doesn’t sound too promising does it?
Before embarking on the journey to becoming a writer, consider the work involved. Unless you are extremely dedicated to putting out a well written and polished product it is likely you will not succeed. Make sure that you have what it takes to follow the project through from start to finish.
After the best book you ever wrote is completed and edited, you still have to get it published. This task in itself can take many years. Basically you need to print a thousand copies of your book and mail it to every publisher you have ever heard of. They will send you back a lot of rejection slips, but on occasion one intelligent publisher may agree to print it.
Some writers out there who believe that they have a good product but cannot get a publisher will choose the option of self-publishing. The downside to this is that you are still doing all the work yourself and you need to pay all the costs to produce the book, market it to booksellers, and get the product into their hands. You may be able to find companies that can handle all or part of these tasks, but ensure they are reputable before you commit to anything.

I previously showed you Reputation Item Farming for Scryers, so in this installment we will be discussing the Rep Farming for Aldor.
Aldor Item Locations
It is crucial to stay up to date with your server’s economy, so you need to keep running the Auctioneer Mod to keep track of it for you.
As I said with the Scryers and Firewing Signets, I suggest you do not spend too much time going for the lowest level Aldor item, Mark of Kil’jaeden. As far as making gold, you will be able to pull down much more doing Motes and Primals around level 65.
To make sure you cover your requirements of Mark of Kil’jaeden for quests and earlier Rep turn-ins, you should farm in Terrokar. You need to go south from Shattrath City to the Bone Wastes. Once you are in the north and northwest parts of the Wastes, look for the Cabal Abjurists, Cabal Tomb Raiders, Cabal Spell Weavers and Cabal Initiates. They are all in the 62-64 level range. It will get you a boat load of Marks of Kil’jaeden, but you will also end up with a lot of extra Netherweave and Runecloth… this will lead to a lot of extra gold when you sell them at the Auction House.
Now let’s get to the big gold!
The top areas for gathering Mark of Sargeras and Fel Armaments are in Netherstorm, assuming you are level 70. You are going to begin in Stormspire and go north to Forge Base Oblivion and Forge Base Gehenna. The demons here, level 68-69, drop Marks of Armament at terrific rates. The mobs you need to be taking out are Ironspine Forgelords, Cyber-Rage Forgelords and Wrathbringers.
If you are an herbalist and/or enchanter, a better spot is Socrethar’s Seat, the island just northwest of the Forge Bases. You can only reach this with a Flying Mount though. The level 70 mobs will give the same rates on drops as the Bases, but you will also get tons of Mana Thistle and Dreaming Glory Herbs here, and the mobs drop green items that disenchant well. Watch out for Socrethar, the elite in the middle of the island; he does not move much, so it is not much too worry about.
If you can work efficiently in the Netherland spots, you can get around 3 Fel Armaments and roughly 30 Marks of Sargeras per hour. Stacked with the rest of the loot plus herbs and disenchants, you should be raking in around 100g per hour.
Another great spot to farm Mark of Sargeras and Fel Armaments is the eastern side of Blade’s Edge Mountains. To the south, near the inside of Death’s Door, you will find level 68-69 demon mobs like Death’s Might, Deathforge Technician and Death’s Watch. These will drop you some Mark of Sergeras at 25% and Fel Armaments at 2%… not too shabby.
Towards the north of here, at Forge Camp Anger, you are going to find tons of Doomforge Attendants and Doomforge Engineers, level 67-68. These fellas have a bit higher drop rates for the Aldor Rep Items than the Deathforge Mobs, but they are a bit tougher to kill. For the engineers, this is the only place you can get the very rare Bind of Pickup Schematic for Felsteel Boomstick… which of course is very handy for leveling up your engineering skill past 360. Doomforge Engineers are the only ones that drop the Schematic.
